AnantEd Summit 2026

Distinguished Guests, Esteemed Faculty, Dear Colleagues, and Young Anatomists,

On behalf of the Department of Anatomy, AIIMS New Delhi, I extend a warm welcome to all participants of “AnatEd Summit 2026: Reimagining Anatomy Education- Innovative Strategies for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment” , to be held on 1st August 2026.

The discipline of anatomy has always formed the foundation of medical education. Today, however, the methods through which we teach, learn, and assess anatomy are rapidly evolving. Competency-based curricula, digital learning environments, artificial intelligence, and changing learner expectations are challenging us to rethink conventional educational practices and adopt more effective, engaging, and meaningful approaches. AnatEd Summit 2026 has been envisioned as a focused academic forum to discuss these emerging transformations in anatomy education. The symposium brings together distinguished educators, researchers, and clinicians to deliberate upon current trends in medical education, innovations in assessment, educational research, learner engagement, and technology enhanced teaching. The carefully curated scientific programme includes keynote lectures, plenary talks, panel discussions, debate sessions, and live demonstrations designed to promote active interaction and exchange of ideas among participants.

I am confident that the symposium will provide an enriching academic experience and stimulate thoughtful discussions that will contribute to improving anatomy education and educational practices across institutions.
